With over two decades in data engineering and platform development, he is also the founding curator of Modern Data 101, an independent community for data leaders and practitioners, and a contributor to the Data Developer Platform (DDP) specification, shaping how the industry approaches data products and platforms.

He is also a founding contributor to the Data Developer Platform (DDP) specification, helping to define standards and patterns for how modern organisations build data-intensive systems. Animesh is also the founding author of Modern Data 101, a fast-growing knowledge hub and community of over 10,000 data leaders and practitioners. Through Modern Data 101, he shares insights, frameworks, and thought leadership on the evolving landscape of data products, decentralisation, and platform-driven strategies.

Animesh holds a B.Tech in Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad.
